UX & UI Design UX Research

Client’s Requirement

Wavespot was building a saas application very similar to the sales force, mainly focused on the digital campaigning part. They wanted me to follow the way the sales force does those things in their application and then do my own research to bring extra input. The primary goal was to do some research based on the specification we have from the client and then get the user flow done. After that, the preliminary design process.

What I Did

First, this project was an excellent learning scope for me. I had never done a project like this before and also was not very fond of top-level digital marketing operations. First, I did a lot of research on that, including many videos on youtube on sales force and its execution. I used multiple email marketing applications like MailChimp, Campaign Monitor, Litmus etc. Did interview numerous users who use them daily. Also, the client immensely helped me as he had extensive experience using these tools and knew their pros and cons.

After the research, I created the user flow for a few key features and then started designing low-fidelity wireframes to show the client I was on the right track. When the client approved the wireframes, I started doing high-fidelity designs. At first, I started with some east screens and slowly moved toward the complex part of the project.

As I mentioned, this project was a perfect learning curve for me to work on something unique and new as a designer. Ultimately, the client was pleased with the project’s success, and I was also thrilled to learn new stuff.
